A Farm Wife's Life Farming The Farm

Rainy Day During Harvest

Wednesday morning it rained. not that we were needing or wanting rain, but it came anyway. The one good thing about it was I already had our mid-way ultrasound for #4 scheduled for that morning, so since it rained it wasn’t as much of a stress to get back to the farm and get going. We were able to run a few errands one of them being stopping at the tractor dealership and getting some parts.

Fact: I would much rather take all three kids to Wal-Mart than to sit in the truck with all three kids when they are all awake!! 😉

It’s hard to believe we are halfway through this 4th pregnancy, it’s going fast, that’s for sure!!

We didn’t find out what we were having. We haven’t found out what the others were so why change now. We did however get the gender in a sealed envelope in case we change our minds, but that’s probably not going to happen.

Also since it rained Caleb was home early and Chester was able to talk him into Carving pumpkins. They aren’t gonna win any prizes, but hey we carved them and at least my flowers are looking good!!

Since we didn’t get a whole lot of rain the other day, we are hoping to be in the field this afternoon, but instead of combining beans we are gonna try and sow some wheat. Then maybe tomorrow the beans will be ready to start harvesting again.
